US 160 Elmore's Corner East

The US 160 Elmore's Corner East between Durango and Bayfield will improve safety will incorporate features to improve safety and mobility while accommodating projected traffic volumes. This will be a design-build contract. It is currently in procurement phase.

• Procurement & Design Timeline: 2025 - 2026
• Construction Timeline: 2027 - 2030
• Total Estimated Cost: $100 million
• Construction of a four lane highway with additional dedicated left turn lanes
• Improved intersection infrastructure at CR 225 and US 160 (Approximately MP 94)
• Two wildlife underpasses, including a bridge replacement, and fencing features along both sides of the highway.
